This fighter hails from the Hirbeth Monarchy. Part of the central worlds, Hirbeth was once united with Ventrox under a single elected government. The union crumbled in its infancy when a small separatist faction successfully assassinated several of the key elected leaders. In the leadership vacuum, the Hirbethians clamored for a return to their old monarchy and the security of strong leadership. The aftermath of the assassinations not only split the largest powerbase at the time, but splintered off many other worlds in a series of vicious civil wars that last for two centuries. In the modern age, Hirbeth has been reduced to 18 planets, half the size it once controlled before the turbulent era. Like most of the other central worlds, it has remained distant from any of the alien conflicts, but there are occasional skirmishes with the neighboring nations.
