Baegonian Skimmer

Skimmers are often used as scouts and exploration vehicles. They generally possess strong short range sensor arrays and lack the deep space detection that scout ships excel at. These vessels are built to get a close up view of planet surfaces, inhabitants, structures, wildlife, geology, or really just about anything. Older versions are often gutted of their valuable sensor equipment and sold to the public where they have gained a reputation as racing vessels.

Skimmers are not armed for fleet combat. While they are used at times to survey hostile territory, they are generally considered non-combat vehicles.
